Golda’s Picnic Letter

Golda walks on soft grass to an old castle. She sits on a bench and leans against the backrest. In her wallet, she keeps a special letter. It is the letter “P.” A friendly baker comes by with a picnic basket. “Hello,” he says. “I brought pumpkin pie, cake, a donut, and a warm potato.” Golda shows her letter. “P!” she says. “P is for pumpkin pie.” The baker laughs kindly. They share the treats and listen to a small wave in the fountain near the castle. When they are done, Golda wipes her hands, puts the letter back in her wallet, and waves goodbye. “Thank you!” she says.
