Golda and the Picnic Fix

Golda walks to the park with a small picnic. She has a bread roll, a spoon, and a little bag of sugar for her fruit. By a bench, a friendly sheep says, “Baa,” and watches a kite. The kite’s rope has come loose. Golda wants to help, so she ties the rope. Then she sees a screw on the bench that is wobbly. A park helper comes over with a spray bottle to clean the spot and fix the bench. Golda holds the screw steady. “Now it is tight,” says the helper. Golda taps her foot and smiles. She pats the sheep, then enjoys her bread roll. Her bracelet feels warm in the sun.
