Golda and the Sunny Ship Cards

Golda sits in her house with her teacher. The sun shines on the table. The teacher sets cards on a plate and says, “Let’s play.” Golda uses her eye to look carefully and finds the ship card. “Ship!” she says. She places it on top, right drauf. Then she laughs and does a little jump. “Springen!” says the teacher, and Golda jumps again. Next, the teacher opens a wallet. Inside are tiny cards, even one with a bright sun. Golda chooses one and gives it to her teacher. “Thank you,” says the teacher. Together they put the cards back on the plate and wave goodbye.
