Golda and the Toy Ship

Golda sat on a chair and patted the backrest. “Let’s play!” she said. She opened the cupboard and found a toy ship and a shiny bracelet. She put the bracelet on her wrist. Her dog ran in and wagged its tail. In the living room, the television showed a baboon wearing a funny hat. Golda laughed. She noticed a potato on the table. “That’s for later,” she said. At the door, a little frog hopped near the step. Golda used wet wipes to clean her hands. Then she sailed the ship in a bowl of water. The dog watched quietly, and Golda smiled.
